Updates, schema and backups

Deploy code and schema changes without damaging existing data.

  1. Back up files and database.
  2. Test against a staging copy.
  3. Upload code without replacing production configuration.php.
  4. Compare Installed and Required schema in Database Status.
  5. Run only required database upgrades.
  6. Test login, checkout, callbacks, provisioning and cron.
Target schemaThis package documents 2026.10.16.38. If Installed and Required match, do not rerun the SQL file.
Error 1061A duplicate index already exists. Confirm it with SHOW INDEX; do not repeatedly execute the same ALTER.
