Fix license activation and synchronization errors
Resolve invalid keys, domain/IP mismatches, missing panel versions, stale checks and download authorization failures.
| Message or symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| License could not be activated | Use the complete KBILL- activation key, registered domain, current server IP and correct system clock. |
| Cached license permits access | The last signed response is still valid but the authority check failed. Verify DNS, outbound HTTPS and authority availability. |
| Panel version awaiting sync | Run the installed panel’s license check, then confirm the installation renewal request includes the current version. |
| License not activated for download | Update the authority bridge to a version that permits an active paid license to download the installer before first activation. |
| Stable release unavailable | Publish a full stable package from the authority’s Product Releases screen; incremental updater ZIPs do not satisfy customer downloads. |
| Invalid portal credentials | Match portal client ID, base64 32-byte secret, hostname and exact outbound source IP allowlist. |
Safe reissue
When the installation moves, use the controlled reissue action. Rotating the activation key can recover access but should not be the routine fix for synchronization or deployment errors.
